Murrle Bennett Silver and Enamelled Pendant and Chain

What a wonderful Art & Crafts Pendant signed Murrle Beenett & Co.  It includes a gorgeous peacock blue enameled oval centre surrounded by a delicate saw-toothed border. Shield-shaped and slightly convex, it features four graceful quadrants with a delicate, hand-hammered design of flowers and interlacing stems.  The border follows the shape punctuated at four points with berry topped tendrils.  What a beautiful piece.  A substantially sized bale accommodates a 20 inch sterling silver chain. The pendant carries the MB Co mark and is stamped 950 for silver content. Not counting the 5mm bale, the pendant measures 1-3/8" tall (3.4 cm) by approx 1 1/8" wide (2.7cm) Condition is excellent, enamel completely intact. The chain is probably more recent.
